This is a text only guide to
the images on the site of Bryan's: I have created it so that there is
more than one way to browse the images and you can choose whichever method
suits you best. Also in the Textgallery series is Textgallery
Two, Textgallery Three, Textgallery
Four, Textgallery Five,and Textgallery
Six: alternatively, there are the thumbnail galleries, and the best
list of those are on the gallery guide page;
and finally for those that just want to see the images with minimum hassle
then there is a single page with a link to every image on the site in
the image page navigator.
On this page, there are links to the images from Thumbnail
Gallery One, Thumbnail Gallery Two, Thumbnail
Gallery Three and the covers of the Valkyrie Press edition of Luther
Arkwright, and to the Nazz cover gallery images.
Bryan suggested that I add to the site a list of all of the complete strips
that are on it, and the strip
listing is the result.

Luther Arkwright
in church |
|
|
This is a one off picture, from a greeting card, of
Luther in church lighting a candle. I always like to think that
the candle is in remembrance of Rose - but if it was in remembrance
of her, then it would take place after Luther had cast his vibrobeamer
into the sea and renounced violence - so maybe it is in memory of
another of the alternative Rose's that has died in the campaign
against the Disruptors.

The Storyteller |

Another one-off picture (which reminds me of Murdoch
from the Adventures of Luther Arkwright - but who am I to pass comment?!)
This image has just been reprinted in the Friends of Lulu book Storytime
published at $9,95. They have a website at http://www.friends-lulu.org/

The
Death of Rose |
|
|
This is the cover of the third Graphic Novel and shows
the death of Rose: it's one of the most moving images of her death
in the series, and I bought the third Graphic Novel specifically
to own this image and to then publish it on this site.

The

This picture is unconnected with any of the strips:

censor at work.

One

There is also version two

of what is going one than is found in version 1.

The
Treaty of St Petersburg |
|
|
Luther arrives in St Petersburg for the signing of the Treaty between
King Charles, the Tzar and Archduke Willhelm of Prussia. Behind
him is the Imperial Prussian command ship "Siegfried",
that allegedly cost their weight in gold, and the mere sight of
which keeps the Serbs and Poles in subjugation.

The
Firefrost Principle |
|
|
Octobriana tries to fend off Disruptor Rooks
in the Great Pyramid of Giza, while Arkwright uses pyschometry to
wrench data and images from Firefrost. The Disruptors were unaware
of who Luther was - or more likely were not programmed to expect him
to be there - and so after rendering both Arkwright and Octobriana
unconscious they simply trans parallel teleport Firefrost away and
do not harm them further.
