What's new on the Bryan Talbot fanpage

At last! Another ambition has been fulfilled! You can now buy the Heart of Empire CD-Rom directly from this very site! - yes, the Bryan Talbot fanpage Emporium of Wondrous and Delightful Stuff has finally opened!

We will gradually offer a lot more stuff in the Emporium, including original artwork, posters and comics: we had to launch though with the labour of love that is the Heart of Empire CD-Rom.

You can pay via NoChex - for the Brits - and PayPal for those in the US. If demand warrants I will add the ability to pay in Euros too.

Well: it's been almost a month since the last update but I think I have got an excellent reason: not only have I gone through the infinite horror of moving house, but I have also left the day job from hell and returned to the joys of freelancing! - so: anyone out there need a website designed?! Or any internet consultancy? Or computer training?

In terms of updating the site, I have just added two new image pages into thumbnail gallery fourteen: the wizard and the Nazz Speakeasy cover. Also completed the obligatory image navigator page and text gallery updates.

Far too long without an update: that pesky real life in the form of moving house and a day job from hell is getting in the way again......

Anyway, in a fit of guilt, I added a lot of news to the news page, and added the Small Press Expo flyer image and the Arkwright figurine production image - version one and version two - to gallery thirteen, which of course provoked an update of textgallery four and the image navigator page. Oh, and whilst in the innards of the site I edited gallery twelve's homepage and added a link onto Dark Horse editions covers page one.

Oh, and created a new wallpaper - at 800 by 600 and 1024 by 768 rez - from the alien pin-up page.

Did some housekeeping on the links page, and added the image of Luther Emmanuel to gallery 13 (and did the usual updates on the gallery guide and text gallery pages)

Also performed some housekeeping on the gallery of covers of the Adventures of Luther Arkwright.

Added to the news page the press release about The Tale of One Bad Rat's movie options getting purchased!

Also did some housekeeping on the pregallery page and added a couple of items into the links page.

Added the wallpaper gallery, with the Heart of Empire frontispiece (at 800 by 600 and 1024 by 768), the back cover of issue one of Heart of Empire (at 800 by 600 and 1024 by 768), The Battle of London (at 800 by 600 and 1024 by 768) and Luther ascending (at 800 by 600 and 1024 by 768) wallpapers.

This also meant that the single page that lists every image on the site had to be updated: I also realised that Textgallery 4 was too big for any more addtions, and so created Textgallery 5: this mean updating the pre-gallery page and text gallereies 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Updated the news page with a lot of individual items, including news that this fanpage got mentioned on the Guardians website! Also added news about Bryan's talk at Chorlton library, and the shortlisting of the CD-Rom for the 2001 British Science Fiction Association Award for Best Artwork. Also updated the Heart of Empire CD-Rom homepage.

Also added the Castles Made of Sand image to Gallery Thirteen. Updated the Storyteller image with news of it's reprinting, which meant updating image gallery one, and the text based image navigator, page one.
